About Us

Creating meaningful experiences at the crossroads of tourism, culture, and education

About
365

Our Story

The 365 Association was founded in 2010 with the idea to create meaningful projects at the crossroads of tourism, culture, and education. From the very beginning, the mission has been to share Bulgaria’s stories with curiosity, care, and consistency. The name “365” reflects the commitment to work every single day of the year in promoting Bulgaria as a vibrant tourist destination and cultural hub through walking tours, exhibitions, events, and educational initiatives.

Free Sofia Tour Launches

On Friday, August 13, 2010, our first tour launched. Since that day, it has run every single day (pandemic excepted), warmly embraced by locals and visitors worldwide.

Social Program Begins

In 2011, the Association launched its Social Program, initially working with foster homes for children deprived of parental care through workshops and shared experiences designed to broaden their horizons. In recent years, this initiative has evolved toward working with high school students through informal education.

Expansion to Plovdiv

On July 13, 2012, the Free Plovdiv Tour was launched. Over time, the project expanded to include additional themed experiences such as the Plovdiv Socialist Architecture Tour and the Plovdiv Graffiti Tour, exploring the city’s Cold War heritage and vibrant street art scene, along with special on-demand routes for deeper exploration.

In April 2015, we launched another daily walking tour in Sofia, this time focused entirely on the city’s Cold War heritage. It continues to captivate visitors to this day.

New Cultural Projects

In 2019, together with architect Valeri Gyurov, the Association opened The Red Flat — a time-capsule apartment recreating everyday life in 1980s Bulgaria. Later that year, #LOVESOFIA, a theatrical production in English produced by the 365 Association, premiered at the National Palace of Culture.

Today

A Growing Team and Expanding Projects

Today, the Association’s extended team includes more than 50 people united by a shared belief in the power of culture, education, and human connection. The organization continues to develop new projects and experiences while promoting Bulgaria’s cities, culture, and stories to visitors from around the world.

Our Mission

"Only by truly understanding the world
can we improve it."

Understanding leads to care, and care leads to positive change.
One story, one walk, one shared experience at a time.

Discover Bulgaria

Through projects like Free Sofia Tour and Free Plovdiv Tour, we invite visitors to explore the history, culture, and hidden stories of Bulgaria. Each experience helps guests see the country beyond the surface.

Connecting Cultures

Our tours bring together travelers from different countries, backgrounds, and perspectives. These shared experiences encourage conversations, openness, and mutual understanding.

Education and Social Impact

Through our Social Awareness Program, we work with students, underprivileged children, and refugees. By introducing them to the cities they live in, we help them better understand their surroundings and opportunities.
Values

Our Values

Quality

We aim for excellence in everything we do, creating meaningful experiences that inspire, educate, and leave lasting positive impressions.

Responsibility & Trust

We approach our work with care, integrity, and honest communication, trusting our team, our partners, and the impact of our work.

Perseverance & Curiosity

Through continuous learning, creativity, and determination, we develop projects that contribute to positive social and cultural change.

Satisfaction

We believe meaningful work should bring fulfillment, not only through results but through the joy of creating something valuable together.

We don't just show cities.

We help people understand them.

And by understanding the world better, we believe we can improve it —
one story, one walk, and one shared experience at a time.
