You are already in Sofia, walking around the place, exploring it either with us or on your own.
You have seen more than one souvenir shop and you already have the basics for your friends and family back home – rose oil, magnets, Bulgarian sweets, etc. How about you go one step further and check some very nice Bulgarian brands now? Come with us to the Brave Moustache shop.
Located in the very heart of the city center ( just behind the famous Slaveikov’s square ), the tiny showroom is full of treasures. Designed and produced in Bulgaria, here you can find next to each other clothing, shoes, wine, candles, beard balms, wooden posters, cards, calendars and many more interesting hand made products.
One of our favorite collections here are the tops designed by Ivet Lalova.
Being one of the greatest Bulgarian athletes in the last decade Ivet is inspiration for everyone around and the collaboration between her and Brave moustache is just another proof for that.
Every time we pass by the shop we are finding something new and that’s because they’re constantly expanding the list of Bulgarian artists they show. February just brought to us the lady’s shirts and sweaters of Lovely Bones with which we are ready to face the upcoming spring – flowers and colours everywhere. Ready to blossom, girls? ;)
Talking about February, we cannot miss the chance to talk about wine.
In Bulgaria we celebrate not only Valentine’s day on the 14th ot February but also the Day of St. Trifon Zarezan. Probably related to the Thracian god of the wine – Dionysius, that’s the day when we inevitably drink wine. So, here’s the place where we can find some tasty raspberry wine – Trastena – made from Bio raspberries. Take a look at the labels of the bottles too – they’re a piece of art, limited collection especially made for Brave moustache ;)
So, what more do you need? When in Bulgaria, celebrate like a Bulgarian!
We want to tell you more about the secrets of the Brave Moustache , but we’ll give you the chance to explore the shop on your own. Let yourself be surprised by Bulgarian style. One more time.
Your Local Friends.
PS: They’re working in the weekends too – Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 until 18:00.
